How the eye works for kids
NettetYour pupil gets bigger and smaller to control the amount of light that gets into your eye. Your cornea and lens refract (bend) the light to bring what you’re seeing into focus. Light reaches the retina at the back of your eye, and the retina changes the images into electrical impulses or signals. NettetYour students first need to match up the different parts of the eye with the description of what they are and what they do. Then you can all move on to the eye diagram, where you can ask your students to label them. An answer sheet is included to see how your kids did, so parents can use this activity at home to give children some extra support.
