WebAug 23, 2010 · adolf hamster. iirc the other oils can work well. but you need to be careful. some seals etc might be sensitive to the oil your sticking into them. personally i'd just go with the proper silicon stuff. although possibly bike/car shock oil might work aswell. but its cheap enough for the proper stuff.
