WebSo since I wanted my hair to have more texture and I thought shampooing too often was bad for my hair I changed my routine . For the past couple months I've been using a routine of shampoo (day 1) , no wash (day 2) , wash with just water (day 3) and repeat but I find after the second day it's already greasy , oily and clumps together . WebThat’s just not what my skin / scalp likes. The internet preaches not washing hair often, but everyone’s scalp / skin has different needs. I tried washing less and my scalp never got less oily. If you had really oily skin on your face and you didn’t wash it often and only wet it and moisturized, it’d break out too. It’s no different.
