It should settle into idling as soon as those numbers are there. If they aren't, then it is another issue. This is just what worked for me. I had to call Fitech, and that is what they told me to do, and have not had another issue, until i had a collector gasket leak.

If it is a 40 or higher, the default FiTech tune just off idle is probably too lean, which is why I keep hammering on the 1100 RPM AFR target setting. The Accel Pump settings at 65F and 170F could be a little lean as well. WebOct 7, 2024 · 9. Hello All. I finally gave up and gave in with this fitech issue I am having. Setup: 5.7 V8 - Stock w/ edelbrock intake. Turbo Charged - 10 lbs. boost. Issues: after acceleration and on deceleration from cruising or WOT, AFR goes way lean (16.0 -20) and almost dies. Seems to happen more dramatically under hard braking.
